Dear Jacques
" Western Province Junior golf squad has had a fabulous relationship with Jacques over the past two years. The squad consists of 24 girls with handicaps ranging from 4 to 34 and ages from 11 to 18 - all at very different stages of golf development. We met with him every two weeks and although we are a very large group, he managed quickly to assess the
specific needs of each girl. The girls really enjoyed their time with him as he made the practice sessions instructional yet fun, competitive yet team building and made them all realise that golf was not just technique but also had a strong mental side to it too and emphasised the importance of self-belief.
He gave them many tips on easy drills which they could do by themselves away from the driving range - really useful to players who do not have all facilities
at their disposal. He assisted many of our girls in the early stages of their golf and it is a pleasing to see how their game is developing. We shall miss him but wish him every success in his new province."
Hope that you are enjoying your new home and wishing you every success in your Golf Academy. I look forward to hearing from you and your progress on the junior girls there - I have visited your website and will keep up to date with all your news.
Kind Regards

Dear Jacques
I would like to say that Jacques is the BEST teaching professional that I have ever met and worked with. I am a 2 handicap and have played golf for 34 years and have not met anyone who had understood the golf swing better.
Dr Rory Harvey
Dear Jacques
When I first arrived with you as a youngster, my swing was all over the place and I must thank you for correcting it and been such a good friend to me. All the best for your career in the future.
Yours sincerely
Andrew Morris (15 Years)
Jacques has achieved many things with Andrew. Besides coaching him to be a very competitive young golfer, he has taught him many lessons in life - which to me, are as important.
He maintained Andrew's enthusiasm at a very high level; which lead to his strong work ethic at the game and eventual results. Jacques' approach with Andrew was always encouraging, from which I can see he has developed his self belief. The coaching sessions were always a very positive experience.
Andrew looked forward to every lesson, wanting to get there early so he could warm up before the lesson and be at his best. I know you enjoyed coaching him as much as he enjoyed his time with you
Jacques, good luck, I'm sure you'll do well; and as u say I'm sure our paths will cross again - and thanks for teaching Andrew to dress !!
Regards
Kevin Morris - father to Andrew
Testimonial to the Jacques Beukes Golf Academy :
I have two sons aged 18 and 15 and who have been coached by Jacques for the last 2 years. My youngest son started with a handicap of 16 and my eldest son with a handicap of 12 when they arrived at his doorstep, each with a dream of playing better golf. The boys were on the driving range when Jacques spotted them swinging away at what to me seemed like a very good golf swing at the time, as all parents believe at first. After chatting about what he could offer the boys I decided that professional tuition would benefit them.
And so we started with each boy getting 1 hour per week of professional coaching. Jacques sat down with each and analysed what they wanted to achieve as their personal goals from the game, where they wanted to be in 2-3 years and then he began an individual program suited to each of the boys’ swings.
Fortunately my youngest son had very much an easier road of development compared to the other. Darryn (youngest) went within 1 year from a 16 handicap to a 7 handicap. He has since been rewarded with his Western Province junior colours which he has achieved for the last 2 years since.
Jarryd (eldest) has different goals in that he would like to make a career out of golf as a PGA Teaching Professional and playing a few selective tournaments from time to time. With an initial handicap of 12 and a swing that made Tiger Woods look pedestrian together with a spider doing the 8-step, I honestly believed that this was a dream for him which has since become a reality as he is now playing off a 2 handicap and has one of the most elegant easy golf swings I have seen in a long time. Jacques and Jarryd together rebuilt his swing from scratch with some very painful months where he was unable to hit the ball but with the guidance, commitment and knowledge of Jacques many years teaching experience, over the last 2 years, his dreams of making it as a PGA Teaching Pro has now become a reality with a definite plan of action to achieve his goal.
There is also the mental approach to where we have seen vast improvements in, not only in golf but with confidence and self esteem.
The bottom line is that if your siblings, wife, husband or self are committed to hard work and practice, you will play better golf.
To Jacques, many thanks from the Berry Family, Cape Town.
I have been going to Jacques for golf tuition for the last 3 years. During this time Jacques has been exceptional in many different categories. He possesses a great sense of humour, he reads people very well and his knowledge of the golf swing and its various mechanics are first class. I have no hesitation in recommending Jacques as a teacher. He made vast strides in improving my technique and helping me understand my swing better. On top of this he is also a great bloke to boot. I wish him all the very best.

Dear Jacques
I would like to thank you for your tutoring during the last five months. It is rather interesting to see how a few basic alterations, like swing and tempo, significantly improved my handicap.
Wish you all the best in Ballito.
Best regards
